Tableaux de Provence, Paule Maurice; Sonata, Walter Piston; Koechlin, Epitaphe; Lazar, Zakotne pesmi

The University of Texas at Austin
Butler School of Music
Marianne Gedigian – Flute
Stephen C. Page – Saxophone
Colette Valentine – Piano

In September 2019, Marianne Gedigian shared a collaborative recital in which we programmed some excellent chamber music by Milko Lazar and Charles Koechlin, and also traded solo repertoire. Walter Piston’s Sonata is well suited to the saxophone, being a perfect fit for soprano, and Paule Maurice’s Tableaux de Provance is equally at home for flute. We hope you enjoy!
