BIRDS Concerto for Alto Sax and Wind Orchestra by Toshio Mashima – I. Swallow, soloist Kyle Mechmet

“Birds”, a breathtaking piece for solo alto saxophone in three movements, was composed exclusively for the longtime principle saxophonist and concertmaster of the famous Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra – Nobuya Sugawa.
The concerto, written by Toshio Mashima, is in three movements: Swallow, Seagull, and Phoenix.
