Antonio Felipe Belijar began his musical studies in the Conservatorio Superior de Mosica de Madrid when he was seven, concluding his career with the Honour Prize in Saxophone. He has won many awards as both a soloist and an ensemble member, most recently winning First Prize at the International Chamber Music Competition ‘Mirabent I Magrans’ (2011) with the Octavia Saxophone Quartet. He has played solo concerts with orchestra in Spain, Portugal, Germany and Belgium, and is also conductor of the “Sax Antiqua” saxophone ensemble. Antonio Felipe is saxophone teacher at Madrid Professional Conservatory and Francisco de Vitoria University.
