Paul Jeffrey was a saxophonist and educator who has known Sonny Rollins since the early 50s.

Paul Jeffrey (born April 8, 1933, died March 20, 2015) was an American jazz tenor saxophonist, arranger, and educator born in New York City. Perhaps best known for performing with Thelonious Monk from 1970–1975, Jeffrey also worked with musicians including Charles Mingus, Dizzy Gillespie, Clark Terry, Lionel Hampton, B.B. King, and many others.
