Saxophone repairman Matt Stohrer of http://www.StohrerMusic.com gets «bout it» and uses two colons in the title of a new sub-series of his Saxophone Repair Topic videos, which over time will attempt to catalog examples of the different finishes and re-finishes you may see in your life saxophonic. This first video deals with the rather esoteric telltale of some of the original lacquer AND original pads vintage Selmer: the lacquer overspray on the pads.

For more on this topic and to see some photographic examples of not only the overspray on the pads, but the shadows left by the key arms on the body, see this erudite article written by Matt here: http://www.stohrermusic.com/2013/09/lacquer-overspray-on-original-lacquer-selmer-saxophones/
