Saxophone Repair Topic: Double Socket Necks

Note: I misspoke at 5:08, I meant to say King (the maker of the neck I am holding at the time), not Conn. And WATCH TILL THE VERY END! I added some content after the sign-off.

Saxophone Repairman Matt Stohrer of http://www.StohrerMusic.com and http://www.OpenSourceSaxophoneProject.com barely touches his pad slick with a neck in this video and it sounds like a bell ringing! Must have been mic placement because at the time it was not even noticeable. Also he talks about the double socket neck found on some Conn and King saxophones, the different ways they have been made, common problems and solutions, and as an afterthought shows off a freshly fit King Super 20 neck. Noice!
