Saxophone repairman Matt Stohrer of gives the lowdown on another oft-overlooked gem of the 1970s and 1980s, the 880 series Yanagisawa saxophones. Durable, well-built, relatively cheap and with a great tone and modern ergnomics, these horns deserve more attention than they get.
