Horace Silver Plays the Piano

I’ve been a Horace Silver fan since he released «Song for My Father» in the mid-60s. I love his writing, and his piano playing. The Penguin Guide to Jazz said Horace’s playing utilized «Blues and gospel-tinged devices and percussive attacks give his methods a more colourful style, and a generous good humour gives all his records an upbeat feel.» I really dig the «Nature Boy» quote at the end.
