Horace Silver Plays the Piano

I’ve been a Horace Silver fan since he released “Song for My Father” in the mid-60s. I love his writing, and his piano playing. The Penguin Guide to Jazz said Horace’s playing utilized “Blues and gospel-tinged devices and percussive attacks give his methods a more colourful style, and a generous good humour gives all his records an upbeat feel.” I really dig the “Nature Boy” quote at the end.
