Flight of the Bumblebee – Saxophone Octet

Rimsky-Korsakov’s interlude from ‘The Tale of Tsar Sultan’ is now one of the most famous ‘classical’ works in it’s own right. In this arrangement by Claire Tomsett-Rowe, the baritone saxophone is featured as the bumblebee in flight!

Well, now, my bumblebee, go on a spree,
catch up with the ship on the sea,
go down secretly,
get deep into a crack.
Good luck, Gvidon, fly,
only do not stay long!
