Bradley’s and Beyond – Ted Panken: JVG Live! 5.29.20


Ted Panken is a journalist and broadcaster who has been part of the New York City Jazz scene since the 70s. He has written hundreds of articles and liner notes and broadcast many many hours on WKCR-FM with The Musicians Show. This edition of JVG Live! focuses on three musicians who Ted has known and written about: John Hicks, Hank Jones and Phil Woods. Ted was a regular at the infamous Greenwich Village Jazz club, Bradley’s, where Mr. Hicks and Mr. Jones were regular performers.
