Zdenka Kosnarova was born in Czech Republic. She concluded her piano studies at the Ostrava Conservatoire. She studied jazz piano at J. Jezka Conservatoire, in Prague. She studied composition at the Academy of performing arts, in Prague. Since 1995 she works as a pianist. In the period 1995-2010 she was piano teacher and accompanist at the J. Jezka Conservatoire, in Prague. Nowadays she works both in Portugal and in Czech Republic.
In Portugal, she worked as accompanist with the saxofone class at the Superior School of Music, in Lisbon (ESML), in 2010-2011. She was accompanist at the National Young Musicians Award (PJM), in Lisbon, in 2010- 2011-2012. With the saxofone player Rodrigo Lima, she forms the ”Duo 152” (see youtube: Duo 152). With the saxofone player Rita Nunes she forms the ”Double Trouble” duo (see www.wix.com/ritamaralnunes/doubletrouble).
