Embassy of Belgium in Ukraine, International Association of Adolphe Sax, the Eurasian Association saxophonists, the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after Tchaikovsky, The Organizing Committee invites saxophonists up to 25 years old to participate in the Third International contest of young performers «Golden saxophone.»
Time: 12-15 November 2017
Venue: The National Academy of Music named after Tchaikovsky Ukraine, Kiev National Philharmonic Hall.

Age groups:
1. «Saxofonissimo» up to 13 years old
2. The Intermediate group 14 — 17 years old
3. The Senior group: 18-25 years old


The jury — representatives of the leading saxophone schools of the USA and European countries.
The jury will award the title of Winner of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree, the title of Winner of 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree in each age category.
Winner of the first prize in the Senior age category will be awarded with saxophone Selmer Paris Serie II.
All participants will be awarded with diplomas, prizes and souvenirs from partner companies and manufacturers of musical instruments accessories. Travel expenses and accommodations are the sole responsibility of the participant. If necessary, the organizing committee can book the hotel by prior arrangement.
Organizing fee.
For Senior and Middle group — $ 100 (at the rate of NBU).
Saxophonissimo group: 50$ (at the rate of NBU).
Deadline: 10. 09. 2017
The competition is held in two rounds. In the second round, participants are allowed, according to the decision of the jury.
The jury's decision is final and not appealable.
The winners of the contest are invited to perform in the final gala concert of the contest, which will be held on November 15th, 2017 in the Big Hall of the NMAU named after PI. Tchaikovsky accompanied by a string orchestra.
The main conductor is Igor Andrievsky.

Honored Art Worker of Ukraine, Candidate of Art Criticism, Professor of the NMAU named after P.I. Tchaikovsky.
