Concours International pour SAXOPHONE Fernande Decruck 8-11 September 2022

RULES

ART1.
Fernande Decruck International Competition for saxophone soloist will take place in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés and Paris in France from 11 to 14 of march 2021. It is organized by Saxiana Association.

ART.2
The jury of the competition is composed of saxophonists of international renown as well as musicians of the symphonic orchestra. The jury’s decision is final and cannot be challenged.

ART.3
The preliminary round of the contest is playoff. It consists in a selection by a selection committee, of the Videos sent by the candidates from their performance of the imposed programm. Applicants to this eliminatory event will be charged a viewing fee. Any video sent after the deadline (october 15th) will not be viewed.

ART. 4
Candidates selected for the second round will receive an individual invitation to the Competition on 1st december. Successful applicants will be required to pay the registration fee by the deadline (1st january) to validate their registration.

ART.5
The second round requires piano accompaniment. A pianist of the competition will be available to candidates for their performance in exchange for a participation at the cost of a pianist. No rehearsal is planned, however the candidates are allowed to contact the pianistof the competition to plan a rehearsal at their own expense. It is also possible to play with his personal pianist.

ART.6
The costs of travel, accommodation and meals shall be borne by the applicants. The organizer of the contest will be able, if you wish, to send you some addresses of nearby hotels.

ART.7
The registration fees remain acquired at the organisation of the contest and cannot be refunded.

ART.8
Photocopies are not allowed.

ART.9
Whole competition is open to the audience.

ART. 10
Limit age is set at 32 years old on march 11th 2021.
