Adolphe Sax Party in Montreux 5th July 2014


As part of the bicentennial of the birth of the Belgian Adolphe Sax, inventor of the saxophone, we appeal to all saxophonists to invite them to participate in a Grand Rally to be held Saturday, July 5, 2014 during the Montreux Jazz Festival.

On this occasion, a giant saxophone, 3 meters tall decorated by the Belgian artist Fabrizio Borrini will be provided by Belgium to the City of Montreux.

To enhance this event, we are looking 200 enthusiastic and passionate saxophonists to share a unique musical moment in a good mood.


Please find attached the flyer announcing the Grand Rally and we encourage you to distribute it as widely as possible to all your friends saxophonists (teachers, students, schoolchildren, schools, bands, ….) Note there is a registration is Sunday, June 15, 2014 deadline.
